PROJECT DESCRIPTION

What is my next step? Which course of study is right for me? What is the difference between a university and a university of applied sciences, and what does that mean for me? Which one is right for me and my preferences? And can I manage it all?

Questions upon questions – we are here to support you on your way to studying in Darmstadt.

The studier_DA project is a joint project of the Technical University of Darmstadt and the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. Especially in the field of engineering, there are degree programmes with the same or similar names, but its contents and forms of study are very different. Together, we therefore set out to find the real differences between the two institutions. How is a course of study structured on both sides? What contents are taught? What is particularly important? What does a typical day at university look like? And what does this mean for you and your future career?

With this collected knowledge, we would like to accompany and support you in your individual decision and choice of studies, in order for you to feel comfortable at the university that is right for you. Take your time to look around and get in touch with us if you have any questions!
